In 1999, Beth and I packed up our three babies and left everything and everyone we knew in Michigan for a new opportunity in Atlanta. By 2002, I had left Corporate America and found myself “flipping” houses for a living. Since then, we have built a Real Estate company that has served over 1500 clients. I have obtained my Certified General Appraisal license in the state of Georgia, am a home inspector, and REALTOR. We are recognized as one of the top producing teams in the Keller Williams Realty Partners office in Woodstock, GA, and serve on the Agent Leadership Council in our office. I am frequently complimented for my real estate knowledge, marketing success, and am known as “the value guy”. If I cant be an asset to your cause, I will let you know and do my best to lead you in a direction that is.
Being a Realtor isn’t the only thing I do, I am a local educator and have been since 2002 and I also serve as a state commissioner. I am also a mother to 3 amazing kids who are now grown up and have started their own lives. Away from work… I love to relax and will read any book you put in front of me.
We love our community. When not at work you can usually find us relaxing in Downtown Woodstock, Canton, or at a Braves Game with friends and family. We truly believe the best way to serve others is through our own success and leading others to success.
I grew up in Canton, Georgia, and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Finance. I grew up starting to love the real estate industry and always enjoyed looking at homes for fun. Before joining Townsend Realty, I started my real estate career working with investors to find the right deals that fit their investing needs. I decided I wanted to branch out to also help families find their dream home. Whatever your real estate goals are, I believe your real estate experience should be of comfort and low stress. When I am not helping clients, I am probably at Onelife Fitness or the baseball field.
My name is Chelsei and I am a Woodstock native! I graduated from River Ridge High School in 2015 and am very familiar with the Woodstock area. On days outside of the real estate world, you will find me either jogging outside or hanging out with my fur babies. My joy however is found in serving others and bringing my best to my work. I love working with my clients and learning what their needs are so I can serve them in the best way possible. Having raised my children over the last 18 years in Cherokee and Fulton Counties, I am fully aware of the reason families prefer Metro Atlanta to Live – Love – Work – Play! Atlanta has exploded with wonderful developments and a revitalizing spirit for the historical areas. You will be hard-pressed to find a better quality of life and value. These counties and many others across Metro Atlanta have the full spectrum and foundation to raise your families and grow roots. Working and investing in both Real Estate and Restaurants over these many years, I am attuned to the housing and financing needs for working families and the entrepreneur. My specialty and greatest desire is in support of the client who truly wants to maximize Real Estate Investing and capitalize on the significant tax benefits for investor property and primary homeownership. The best education truly comes from experience. However, having an MBA helps me properly connect and communicate with the client who operates with certainty that “time is money!”
When the day is about to wrap, I love planning the future and creating surprise and delight for my loving wife and adult children. I especially love to relax with my wife, Lisa, and equally loving Jack Russell, Riley. The three of us enjoy life to the nth degree.
I came to the real estate industry with over 14 years of operations, marketing, and management experience. As a Multi-Office manager for three locations and local bookkeeper, I kept our district on target by reaching sales & service goals each year. On a personal note, I am a very devoted wife and mother to my handsome sons. I enjoy traveling, volunteering, and working with the local schools, PTA & social groups.
I am the youngest of the 3 Townsend kids and graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia in May of 2020. I have a degree in Marketing and have become very passionate about all things marketing. Working for the family business has been a joy, challenge, and exciting all at the same time. I am responsible for all of our marketing efforts, including managing our listing inventory and our day-to-day operations.
When I am not working for the family business, I love to play volleyball with my friends and enjoy my free time with my family.
I am Brody the guard dog. I don’t look very tough but I will do anything to protect my family. I am the first thing people see when they come to visit our house. When I am not guarding the house, I love going to the lake to swim, but my most favorite thing to do is chase the deer in our backyard.

It all started at age 5 helping my dad build our second home in Northern Michigan. It took 10 glorious years to complete, and another 20 years to recognize it was a passion. It’s not like it was a huge house, it’s just that my dad was in no rush and it was a hobby, not a career.
Townsend Realty Group was started on the heels of 9-11. After 15 years of working in corporate America selling technology solutions, I decided to follow my passion and turn what had been a hobby into a career.
We started by buying, renovating, and selling investment properties…a classic flipper story. By the end of 2002, I had obtained my Georgia Appraisal License, was a REALTOR and became a home inspector. The experience and knowledge gained through working in these three disciplines of real estate have helped us guide our clients through some of the most challenging situations. Rarely do we run up against something we cannot find a solution for. We are driven by maximizing value for our clients.
In addition, our passion for marketing, and the use of technology have allowed us to gain better results for our clients. There is a lot packed into that statement, and yet the bottom line is, we know how to expose your property to the greatest number of buyers which allows you to sell at the best terms and price. The proof is in our results. We definitely use technology to make things easier, quicker and deliver value to our clients.
Since buying that first property in 2002, we’ve served 1,500+ clients in the Greater Atlanta Market Area, are recognized as one of the top producing teams in the Keller Williams Realty Partners Woodstock, GA office, serve on the Agent Leadership Council, became a Certified General Appraiser the highest licensing in Georgia, and have earned countless award and certificates.
