Tom Townson: Hey, folks. It’s Tom Townson, coming to you again. Just wanted to reach out to you and give you a little bit of feedback. Hey, listen. We’ve heard back from a lot of our sellers and if your situation is that you just really don’t want anybody to be walking through the home, so therefore you’re holding the house off the market for a while, we totally get it. We totally understand that. If you’re concerned about a personal or a family health risk, we’re 100% behind you. Just keep it off for right now. Don’t let anybody in until everything is safe.

If you’re just wanting to hold off for a little while and see how this thing plays out, I’d like to share with you some things that we are doing to make sure that this whole process is more safe than ever before. One of the things we’re doing is we’re doing virtual open houses now. That basically means that we’re going to walk through the house with a video, take a video of the house and actually interact with people online, opposed to in-person. The other thing is we’ll ask people to wear masks, we’ll ask them to wear coverings on their feet and we are vetting the buyers more so than we ever have before. We don’t need any lookie-loo. We don’t need people just coming in and kicking tires and wanting to see a house. They have to be serious and we are going through a process to actually vet them to make sure that they are serious buyers before they’re going to ever step foot in your home.

So those are couple things that we’re actually implementing and having success with. Again, your safety and your health is our number one priority. I’d be more than happy to talk to you a little bit more about that and brainstorm a little about some ideas, if you are in a situation where you really want to or you need to sell the home.
