All right, one of the common questions or comments that we get all the time is, “Aren’t all agents kind of the same? I mean, you guys all kind of do the same thing“, and they really don’t think that we do a whole heck of a lot, to be quite honest with you. So I’m going to try and help explain to you what we do here at Townsend Realty Group and the value that we provide our clients compared to other real estate agents.
So one of the first things that we always talk to our agents about and one of our standards and our missions. Our mission is to actually help you preserve wealth and build wealth through real estate. Now, when I talk about preserving wealth, that’s really being a financial advocate for our clients themselves. We have over 20 years of experience in the market itself. We understand where the market is going, and there’s a lot of nuances that you can actually maneuver through in order to preserve your individual personal wealth through the real estate that you currently own. Now, building wealth is a little bit different. That is for folks that are interested in investing in real estate. It has been widely known that one of the greatest wealth-building activities and investments, any individual or company can make is in the real estate market. So many of our clients that are out there that are interested in building wealth through real estate, we are right there to help them out. There’s a lot of nuances involved with that. However, one of our missions is to help you preserve and build wealth through real estate.
Now, one of the other things that we do and the standards that we have is that we want to deliver certainty through the entire transaction, as you go through the changes in your life. I mean, obviously, people buy and sell real estate based on a change that is occurring in their current life. Either the current home doesn’t fit their needs and they needed a new home, or maybe they’re transitioning from one stage of their life to another. So whatever that is, we really emphasize delivering certainty to that client while they’re going through that change, and there’s a lot of things that we do and that really focuses on our service itself. So when we talk about the service that we provide and some of our value adds, it really starts internally, what we have here, right here at Townsend Realty Group in Cherokee County. We do have the processes and the systems in place, and we also have personnel in place to support every single one of our clients.
There’s an old saying out there that the hardest job in real estate is the solo agent, and I can attest to that as I was a solo agent for quite a few years. There are so many moving parts and so many tasks involved with the transaction, from selling to buying a home that a single agent alone has to complete is a daunting task. And inevitably, something’s going to get dropped. There’s either going to be miscommunication or something’s not going to get done. Heaven forbid you got sick or want to go on vacation because there was none of that. The solo agent really has got a very, very difficult task in hand. So we’ve built a team to actually support that whole transaction, and not just one transaction, but we have multiple transactions going out at any given time. So we have business processes, models, software, and people in order to support every single step of the way. So for example, as I’m sitting here doing a video, I got to have somebody answering the phone for clients, right? I may have someone that found their dream home and needs to go see it in 30 minutes, so I’ve got to have the processes in place to be able to support that. So that’s one of the big value adds that we have. And then externally, we really rely on our market knowledge and our 20 plus years of experience to really know what the market of the moment is. And that’s going to be really critical and crucial to the service that we provide our clients and the value that we provide our clients. It is, especially now in today’s times, it is a never stagnant process of really keeping our finger on the pulse of what is happening right here in the local markets. And we are very proud of the fact that we’d spent a tremendous amount of time and energy really keeping up to date what is happening, not only in Georgia, not only in Cherokee County but the individual subdivisions that are right here in our market area.
So those are just kind of a few of the value adds that we provide our clients and also what to look for when choosing a real estate agent. There are some additional ones that are personal. We do a lot of personal growth with our employees here, making sure that they’re on track and that they have goals that are written down, and then we track those every single week to make sure that they are living up to their goals and they are growing as individuals as well. That’s only going to bleed over into the value that they provide our clients themselves. So we do a lot of personal growth initiatives here at Townsend Realty Group as well. Hopefully, that was somewhat of an explanation of the difference between Townsend Realty Group and some of the other agents out there, just to kind of give you a little bit of comparison, and to let you know this job is not as easy as it sounds.
