Everybody, it’s Tom! Hey! Are you moving to Canton, Georgia? Here are five reasons why you should.
All right, one of the main reasons why you should consider, and move to Canton, Georgia, is how economical it is here. You are going to get more houses, for your money on average, compared to what you could get nationally. When you compare Canton, Georgia here locally, in the state of Georgia, you’re going to get a lot more money than you would if you were to actually get a little bit closer to the city of Atlanta. So listen, it’s a great place to go. You can get an economical home. It’s very reasonably priced here, and very economical to actually live here. So that’s one of the main reasons why we see so much, so many people actually move in into this area.
All right, another great reason is the Cherokee County schools are ranked number 11 out of 159 in the state of Georgia, which is really actually high. Phenomenal schools, we’ve got specialty schools, so whatever your needs are from a school standpoint, we’re going to have them. For more information on schools, you can go to, greatschools.org. One of the other great things about this area is downtown Woodstock and downtown Canton. Both of those cities are growing, there’s so, so many neat little shops that you can go to, the restaurants are phenomenal, both of those municipalities have thrown so much money, and effort into making sure that there’s actually entertainment at night, there’s weekend life, there are activities going on in the evenings, and special events, And such. And, as a matter of fact, I happened to be in Woodstock right now, and it’s coming up on Halloween, and we’re having our, our scarecrow festivals. But the cities of Canton and Woodstock always have something going on, and just a lot of people are coming around to enjoy those communities.
The other reason why you should consider Canton is because you get a mix of all kinds of different developments. You’ve got large developments up to 300 homes in a development. And then you’ve also got some really great rural areas with tons of land and acreage, there’s going to be plenty of space, if you want to have goats and chickens, there are lots of areas like that. There are golf communities, pool communities, tennis communities, and more. So you get a great mix of whatever your needs are right here in Cherokee County, and specifically, in the Canton area. So a lot of diversity, and a lot of opportunities, no matter what you’re looking for.
All right, and one of the other great reasons to consider Canton is its location. Listen, we’re about 40 minutes away from downtown Atlanta. So you get all the, all the advantages of living close to a big city. You can go to the Braves games, Falcons games, the Hawks game. You can go to the soccer games. You got all of that entertainment. The Fox Theater down downtown Atlanta is wonderful. We really enjoy that. And then also, you’re about 15 minutes south of the mountains. So, you can just head on up 575 for about a 15, 20-minute drive, and you’re going to see unbelievable spectacular views of the mountains. You can relax, enjoy it. It’s not known as Little Napa for no reason. We have a lot of new vineyards that are actually going into that area. So you can do tours, and so on and so forth. Super relaxing up in the mountains. And it’s just so conveniently located when you’re right here in Canton, Georgia.
