All right, Chelsei, how are you today?
Hey, I’m good, how are you?
Good, good. Just to kick things off, tell me a little bit about you before real estate.
Yeah, well, I’ve done a lot of customer service work, I’d say, like I’m previously a server here in Cherokee County.
Okay, yeah.
So, you know, dealing a lot with customer service and I loved like media and socials, modeling in that sense, acting, stuff like that.
So you acted?
A little bit, I’ve been in a few things.
Oh my god, we’ve got a famous person on our hands.
But I really just love helping people and I’ve always been super social and like social butterfly, as my mom always called me.
Well, that’s good, that’s perfect fit for real estate.
Yeah.
So why, how did you get into real estate? What kind of prompted that?
Yeah, really, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do as a career, long term. You know, I’d been a server, so that’s good money, but I needed something as a career. And I thought, why not just get my real estate license? I love architecture and like furniture and stuff like that. I thought, you know, if I mixed together my love of like people and outgoingness with like a love for homes, why not do that, you know? And it’s my own business. I can work as much as I want and build it as much as I want.
It gives you that flexibility, just because you’re working for yourself.
Absolutely.
So why did you pick Townsend Realty Group? Cause I know that you can be an individual agent. There’s tons of other teams here at Keller Williams in Cherokee County. So why Townsend Reality Groups specifically?
Yeah, I’d say Townsend Realty Group kind of picked me in a way. I was taking a class here at Keller Williams and Tom was one of the speakers one of those days, and he just kind of called me out one day saying, I sounded really good on the phones. And I was like, ah, don’t do that. But he did that, and you know, I ended up talking to him later. He wanted me to be on his team and I really wanted a team bond either way. So that kind of just found me and I was looking for it, in a sense too. So it worked out.
Yeah, I think it worked out, I think you’re a great fit for our team.

Okay, so it’s kind of fun question. What is the craziest experience or thing that you’ve heard in regards to real estate in Cherokee County?
Yeah, let’s see. Well, I door knock every Saturday in my neighborhood, my farm area, King’s Gate.
Okay, I was going to say.
We park at King’s Gate in Woodstock, Ga and Cherokee County. Yeah, so I was door knocking one day and, God forbid if he watches this, bless you, but.
We appreciate you.
Yes we do. I was door knocking and the guy answers, like just with boxers on nothing else. He’s just like, I don’t want anything. I’m like, yes sir.
We got it. We got the hint, we’re leaving.
Yeah. So.
That’s funny. And then also what is a good quote that you go to when you’re down or even want to be motivated? Like what is that quote that you go to?
Yeah, I’d say recently my new favorite quote. There’s so many, but my new favorite is the five minute rule. And it’s literally, you are allowed to be negative for five minutes. After that, it’s not serving you any value. There’s no need and you literally have to move on, right?
I like that. I need to do that too.
I’m applying it, it’s taking time.
Yeah. Oh yeah, I bet it is. That’s awesome, that’s fun, I like that. Cool.
